“I’ve been sharing quite a bit of information about the progress on Hodari’s Gateway Real Estate Africa project in Tatu City, Nairobi. But today, I’d like to go into more detail about the purpose the Eneo at Tatu Central will serve when it is completed in Q4 2023.
By then, the Eneo at Tatu Central will serve as a state-of-the-art, five-storey office tower for CCI Global: Africa’s largest international contact centre operator. The reason that CCI Global requisitioned the project is that there has been a high demand for the company’s young, highly skilled workforce in Kenya, which didn’t take long to swell to 2,000 agents.
The new facility will double CCI Global’s capacity allowing them to accommodate more than 4,000 employees in one location. It will also house training facilities and a career centre which will allow the youth to submit their CVs and go through an interview and training process in preparation for their employment with CCI Kenya.
I think one of the most interesting things about the project is the fact that the building has been designed to optimise natural light and ventilation through the installation of high-performance glass and openable windows that will be shielded by a self-shading and filtered facade system to improve indoor air quality.
This eliminates the need for air conditioning, saving a massive amount of energy, and also provides employees with sunlight and visibility of outdoor green spaces despite them working in an office all day. While the coming months will likely be a mad rush to get everything completed and up to standard, I can’t wait to see Eneo at Tatu Central when it’s up and running.”- Mikayla Benkenstein, Director
